How secure is EarthWhere?
EarthWhere uses database user authentication that stores user names and passwords in the database. A user must have a valid user name and password before they can log on to EarthWhere.
Once logged on, EarthWhere provides multiple levels of data security and user configurable policies. Access Control Lists (ACLs) and groups define the level of access each user has to specific data elements. With three permission levels — none, view only, and full — you are provided complete access control to critical information.
