Challenge
CET based overseas at an operational center was faced with the requirement of quickly discovering relevant imagery among thousands of files for a geospatial location when doing analysis.

Solution
CET worked closely with the SPADAC Products Group to implement a central archive that automatically indexes imagery data and it's metadata for discovery by a CET analyst.

Benefit
With over 40TB currently archived, CET was able to increase its analyst's product generation and response time greatly.

United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
Common Mapping Solution Program

Challenge
Special Operation Forces (SOF) analysts required quick and up-to-date data access to NGA base maps within its FalconView application.

Solution
SPADAC Product's Group provided SOCOM a customized FalconView module on top of existing EarthWhere infrastructure to automate the syncing of up-to-date base maps from NGA.

Benefit
The EarthWhere FalconView Module will provide users within SOCOM's enterprise hands-off access to continuously updated base data.

USMC, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA)
Geospatial Intelligence Directorate (GID)

Challenge
With MCIA's rapid mission support to the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), discovery of disparate geospatial data for areas of interests from a variety of media was required.

Solution
By working closely with SPADAC's Products Group, MCIA implemented a central archive for its geospatial analysts to discover disparate data quickly and easily.

Benefit
By providing the capability MCIA was able to respond more quickly and easily to mission requests.

Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM)
DCGS-MC

Challenge
The DCGS was challenged by a method to catalog and index its ATARS and SHARP program data to the DIB systems.

Solution
EarthWhere provided a customized DIB adapter to organize all Marine Corps data into an accessible node on the DIB architecture.

Benefit
By providing this provision architecture DCGS-MC is in a position to satisfy future enhancements and requirements for more innovation data dissemination techniques.

United States Geological Survey (USGS), Department of Interior, Denver
Rocky Mountain Geographic Science Center (RMGSC)

Challenge
Wildfires across the western states presented significant challenges to the existing infrastructure and data delivery processes within USGS. Thus the Wildland Fire Support team needed a method to provision numerous and vast spatial imagery datasets to fire teams across the U.S.

Solution
In 2002, the RMGSC worked closely with the EarthWhere Product to provide external Fire Fighter websites with output generation options for custom imagery products on demand.

Benefit
By providing the ability to ensure output consistency a single output production method for a wide variety of users, the USGS was able to consistently add image processing enhancements in a controlled manner and deliver data more effectively to Fire Fighters in the field.

USDA, Farm Service Agency (FAS)
Aerial Photography Field Office (APFO)

Challenge
With APFO's shift from film-based photographs to digital imagery, data requests grew dramatically. With manual data management practices, the response required heavily strained resources and lacked proper efficiency for customers needs. The lack of an easy-to-use, automated system for fulfilling NAIP data requests affected the entire USDA organization.

Solution
After review of various solutions, EarthWhere met more of APFO's business requirements than any other product providing a solution that streamlines the organization, provisioning, and dissemination of disparate data for fast organization wide access in the customer-required formats.

Benefit
With EarthWhere, customer order fulfillment capability significantly enhanced—with cycle times improved by more than a factor of five.
